Editorial sources
Keep rules in sync with the source documents
Fetch the latest files or upload all three documents. Unchanged wording keeps its mapping. Review unfamiliar wording, choose its rules, and check the proposed changes before applying. Your current instructions and examples are preserved unless you explicitly edit them here.
Official live sources
Fetch the latest files from Google Drive
Compare the current Word List, Sefarim/Author List, and Style Guide with the last accepted mapping. Fetching and reviewing do not change any rules.

Back up or restore the complete ruleset
A backup saves every current rule field and the accepted source mapping, including rules added directly in the database. Restoring returns the backed-up rules to that saved version after review; it does not delete other rules. Download a fresh backup after editorial changes.

The database will not be touched
Choose the three Word documents above to see unchanged lines, edits, additions, removals, mapping blockers, and the exact database plan.
Rule content
Review the affected rules
Check whether the new source wording changes the policy. Explicitly keep the current rule or propose edits. Source links update separately; no rule is deleted.
Map new wording to a new draft rule
Use an existing rule whenever it covers the source. Otherwise prepare a draft here, then enter its exact name in the paragraph mapping above. It is created only when you apply the reviewed plan and remains inactive until you activate it in the Rules Library.

Master prompt
The active prompt guides proofreading. Approved admins and owners can edit it. Each saved change applies to the next run; a run already in progress keeps its starting version.
The owner backup is a separate saved copy, initially identical to the active prompt. Only Isaac can edit it. Changes to the active prompt leave this backup untouched.

Proofreading AI settings
Current model: · Reasoning:
Applies to all new proofreading runs. Runs already in progress keep their starting model and reasoning level. Changing either setting starts fresh analysis; existing results remain in Run History.
Higher reasoning levels can take longer and use more billed output tokens. To compare settings, run the same unchanged manuscript and review its results in Performance Analytics.
OpenAI standard pricing per million tokens, checked October 6, 2026. Actual cost depends on token usage, reasoning, and retries.
